She was born in Moscow. She graduated from Moscow Art College Named After 1905 Year in 1983, in 1990 she graduated from Surikov Moscow State Art Institute (M. Kurilko course) with Academy of Art golden medal for diploma work (set-up and costumes to King Lear performance). She worked with such film directors as Petr Fomenko, Mark Zakharov, Konstantin Raikin and others.
She worked at such theaters as Chekhov Moscow Art Theater, Petr Fomenko Studio, Satirikon, Lenkom, Vahtangov Theater and others.
Among stage performances which she was working at there was Igrok (The Player) and Snegourochka (The Snow girl) (State Academic Bolshoi Theater, Moscow) Nos (The Nose) (Mariinskiy Theater), Sinjaya Ptitza (The Blue Bird) (Chekhov Moscow Art Theater), Pikovaya Dama (The Queen of Spades) (The Prague National Opera), Falstaff (Germany), Letuchaya Mish (The Bat) (Stanislavski and Nemirovich-Danchenko Theater, Moscow), Traviata, Piazzi, Selskaya Chest' (Rural Honor) (New Opera, Moscow), Les (The Forest) (Comedy Frances, Paris) and others.
She is the owner of Stanislavki Prize, Chaika (Seagull) Prize, Prize of the Russian Academy of Arts, the State Prize of Russia.
